We rebuilt the entire gallery in our studio and as we pushed the limits to painstakingly recreate and pretty much develop the story, the tone, the look, we filled nineteen soundstages and were in production by December. I feel very lucky that we've got a group of people that are good at this.

Was finalised at an early stage. We do the first visual attack. Changes and refinements can be made to create a vision of the world. The whole attitude to the scene based on the storyboard had to stay consistent with that look.

You're trying to create something that looks real. A process that we went through to develop. To take a basic physical model and have it emote the feeling of the shot rather than what it would really look like.

We took a whole bunch of different little elements and combined them together into one. In order to do that we do a series of layers that allow us to isolate each element and deal with it on its own so that we're not dealing with the weight of the entire system. We have engineers in our staff that understand the physics of energy and light.

The snow.
On the last day we wanted some authentic lappish snow, so we brought in the guys from Santa snow. And they provided a feeling of the dramatic effects.
